How Much Does Jimdo Cost?

Jimdo offers four premium plans, charged on an annual basis. All four plans include hosting, premium support, free setup, and HTTPS security.

The total sum of a Jimdo plan depends on two main factors:

• The specific plan of choice
• Whether or not you purchase a custom domain through Jimdo and, if you do, the cost of that domain after the first free year

Jimdo’s Free Plan

Aside from the premium plans, Jimdo also offers the Play plan, a free plan that gives you the opportunity to try out the platform. Keep in mind though, that the features offered in Jimdo’s free plan are basic and limited. For eCommerce or business sites we recommend the designated premium plans.

The difference between the free plan and the premium plans lies in several aspects.

The free plan:

• Uses a Jimdo branded subdomain (.jimdosite.com)
• Offers only 500 MB storage and 2 GB Bandwidth
• Does not include advanced SEO
• Allows you to add a maximum of 5 website pages
• Includes HTTPS security
• Shows Jimdo ads on your website
• Does not include analytics
• Does not include eCommerce tools

Payment Methods & Cancellation

Payment methods include: Ingenico (Globalcollect), Paypal, Stripe, bank transfer, American Express, Mastercard & Visa.

Cancellation requests must be received within 14-days of the initial purchase in order to receive a full refund. After the 14-day window, cancellation can be made at any time, but no refund will be provided.

How Does Jimdo’s Pricing Compare?

When comparing Jimdo to its main competitors, we see that Jimdo, as well as the others, offer a free option in order to get familiar with the platform. Jimdo’s most popular website plan is cheaper than Wix’s and Squarespace’s but the range of features offered through Wix’s plans, for example, is greater.

Jimdo’s most popular eCommerce plan on the other hand, is more expensive than many of its competitors. But given that it includes advanced features such as design analysis from a Jimdo expert and unlimited storage and bandwidth, it offers great value for larger businesses and online stores.
